Hello again lovelies, today I have for you 3 of the new Pop Art trios from Wet n' Wild. I was waiting until I was able to get all the palettes but after finally seeing them all in person I decided only these three were going to work for me. These (like all my swatches, unless otherwise stated) are just the eye shadow, no primer.
These are the three palettes that I bought. From left to right, There's A Party, Your 15 Minutes Aren't Up, I'm Seeing Triplets.
Your 15 Minutes Aren't Up in the palette is a bright sunny yellow, a powdery lavender, and a pretty pink. They look so bright and pretty in the pan but once they get on the skin it's kind of a let down. The yellow is chalky and pastel like. the lavender is indeed powdery but the most pigmented. and the pink could almost pass as a blush. It's not really what I expected. Maybe over a primer it will be better.
This is I'm Seeing Triplets. pigmentation is a little better on this one. The green one is the least pigmented of the three. The blue one is the boldest, very pretty. I like it but oddly enough it stains, A LOT. Once again the pink one could pass as a blush.
Last but not least is There's A Party. This one's the one I wanted the most. I have been chasing after 'Enter A New Realm' since I missed it when it released. I'm happy to have this as a substitute. Sadly though it isn't living up to my expectations. The red isn't as vibrant as I hoped but the white and black are surprisingly pigmented.
Overall I think these look better in the pan than on skin. I don't think they live up to the hype but at the low price I don't feel like they're too much of a loss.

What do you guys think?
I don't know about you but I would've loved it if M.A.C sounds like noise would've been a viva glam. Viva glam Hayley? I also wouldn't liked if it had been a brighter orange. Like the maybelline vivids. RiRi woo would've been nice as a viva glam too. M.A.C. viva glam RiRi? I don't know. Just a thought.

Maybelline Electro Baby Lips Collection
Ok so today was a bad day for my wallet. I was waiting for Mr. Chemi and decided I may as well browse through the long string on drugstores in Astoria. My first stop was Duane Reade. I picked up some Wet N' Wild palette I had been looking for for a while now and an N.Y.C. palette that I hadn't seen before. Wet N' wild was having a sale on eyeliners (buy one get one 50% off) so I couldn't pass up 50 cent eye liners, who could?? All of that will be swatched by Saturday so stay tuned :D Then i stopped by a Rite Aid that didnt have anything good. I was walking back to the 'meeting point' and passed another Rite Aid where I have had good luck finding all the new collections early. I walked in and the first thing i see? Maybelline Color Tattoo Powder pigments. I didnt pick any up but I will next week. Only one caught my eye and I will be getting it. Right under that display I see *BAM*
New Maybelline baby lips. I have always loved the packaging for these but the new ones are my favorite by FAR. They come in the regular tube but this time its black with neon lettering. The letting was made to almost match the product in side. Let's take a look.
Pretty right? The shades are in the order they were on in the display case (which i could take a picture off)
#80 Berry Bomb, #70 Pink Shock, #95 Strike A Rose, #85 Oh! Orange, #90 Minty Sheer, #75 Fierce N Tangy. I had originally picked up only the first three but then went back and Mr. Chemi bought me #90 and I couldn't help it anymore. I snatched up the last 2. I'm an addict *sigh* Hi guys, My name is Jane and I'm a lip junkie.
Here they all are out of the package, still in the same order
Here they are twisted up a little. At this point I was super excited for the first two and bracing for disappointment with the last two. I know it says sheer mint but i was hoping for a little tiny something.
Here's the arm swatches of all of them. the two pinks have to most pigmentation so far. I was expecting more from the purple so, meh. On my arm you can kinda see a little color from the green and yellow but it doesn't hold up on the lips.
Here are my bare lips for color comparison. yes I know my nostrils are weird. one is round the other is pointy. No need to point it out. Yes i know my skin is really dry, I'm getting over an allergic reaction to a soap bar. (I'm allergic to most soaps and had been able to use Dove until last month when it started giving me rashes. Now I have to use St. Ives hypoallergenic body washes and most LUSH soaps)

Here is #80 Berry Bomb. this one has some color on the lips but not as much as it did on my hand. It smelled like mixed berries
Here is #70 Pink Shock. This was the most pigmented to me. I don't know if I am right so don't quote me on this, but to me this smelled like strawberries. ALMOST strawberries and cream but not quite.
This is #95 Strike A Rose. This one smelled rosey but fruity at the same time. almost like roses and strawberries (don't quote me)
Here is #85 Oh!Orange. This didn't have as much color on my lips as it did on my arm. Its smelled like sweet oranges. I liked it more than I thought i would so that's a plus.
Here is #90 Minty sheer. I included the lips picture just because some people like seeing the clear glosses at work. It smelled minty but not strong. It smelled like a soft sweet mint (much lighter than EOS sweet mint). Very nice. I can forgive its terrible let down on pigmentation because of the really nice scent.
Last but not least #75 Fierce N Tangy. This one was a very nice surprise. For a while now I've been saying Maybelline should make a lemon/lime Baby Lips. Imagine my surprise when I put this on and a fresh lemon scent hits my nose! I think I may have yelped a bit. I would honestly recommend that you pick this up if you like lemon scented balms. Its a nice one.
Over all these new baby lips were all really nice. If not for the pigmentation then for the fun new scents. They have the same feel as the other baby lips but I don't think these have sunscreen. A bit strange that they would remove the sunscreen from the summer line when the core line all has sunscreen... oh well. Be on the look out for these. they're starting to pop up at Rite Aids. have you tried one? if so what do you think. If you have then which one are you the most excited about? Let me know, I'd love to hear from you :)

Revlon Limited Edition Summer Lip Butters
Revlon has come out with 4 new Lip Butters for the summer. I have 3 of them, I didn't get the 4th one named Pink Lemonade because it was a light, pale pink and those colors don't look right on me. Any who.... On to the pictures!
The shades are Juicy Papaya, Sorbet, and Wild Watermelon
The packaging is the same as the core line. Juicy Papaya looks like a true orange in the tube. Sorbet looks like a warm, red pink. Wild watermelon looks like, a warm orange red.
Here they are, this is 3 swipes for each. Juicy Papaya didn't show as a true orange in the swatch. Its more of a peachy orange. Sorbet shows ups as a warm, hot pink, but its sheer so it's very wearable. Wild Watermelon shows up as, well, watermelon. Its a very nice sheer orange-red with some pink. A nice wearable red for those of you too timid for something like M.A.C. Russian Red.
Over all I really like these lip butters. In the collection these are 4 nail enamels, 2 shadow quads and 3 blush sticks that look like the new Jordana ones. I will be doing a comparison post soon. Do I like these lip butters, yes. Are they terribly unique? Not by any stretch of the imagination, BUT they are nice for the summer, and if you can catch them on sale, even better.
All products are purchased with my money, I am not affiliated with Revlon cosmetics, nor do I receive any monetary compensation. This review is my own honest opinion.
Ecotools Retractable Kabuki Brush: Brown VS. Silver
Ecotools is an earth friendly brush company that, in my honest opinion, makes some damn good brushes. I have long been a fan of their retractable kabuki brush. I originally bought the silver one in 2012 when i first started using powder. In 2013 I saw the brown version and i had to have it. I didn't buy it only because of the color, I had been wanting to buy another one anyway, one for at home and one to carry with me. I just figured if I'm going to buy another might as well spice it up a bit. When i got home and tested out the brown one i realized it wasn't the same as my beloved silver one. Let's go to the pictures.
Ok, so far there are only cosmetic differences. One is tinted brown and has the Ecotools 'e' on it. Right away I FELT a difference. The silver one feels like the metal casing is thicker and has a bit more weight to it. The brown feels a little flimsy, like it could be crushed by squeezing it hard enough. It also feels a bit lighter.
When you open them up you can see the bristles on the brown one are darker. They are also slightly uneven. The silver one has a better dome shape and lighter bristles. Please ignore the scuff marks on the silver cap. its just from over a year of use. The bristles on the brown one are softer and DO NOT pick up as much powder as the silver one which means you will have to add multiple layers to achieve the same results. the silver brush has stiffer bristles and pick up (in my opinion) just the right amount of powder.
One more thing worth mentioning about the packaging, the brown one is FLIMSY. I am afraid to carry it around because the cap isn't as tight and the retractable part if very loose. I feel like it wont last me as long as my silver one.
I felt like i had wasted my money and i felt like i should have maybe just bought the silver one again. Then I got an idea. I got my Maybelline blush in Coral Burst (swatches coming soon) and decided to test it out with the brown brush. I had tried the blush before with a non-Ecotool blush brush and didn't like it because it looked ridiculous. The brush had picked up too much of it, and the blush is orange. When i applied it with the BROWN ECOTOOLS brush it left a beautiful sheer wash of color and made the blush look perfect. So while the brown brush may not work for face powder it is a very nice blush brush.
The silver brush I bought for 10.99 at Rite-Aid
The brown one I bought for 7.99 at a DIFFERENT Rite-Aid
Both brushes where purchased with my money, I am not affiliated with ECOTOOLS in anyway. This review is my own honest opinion and I am receiving no monetary compensations for it.

First Sugarpill Purchase
So on Valentine's Day Sugarpill cosmetics had their annual birthday sale. I couldn't resist so I went with the intention of purchasing the Burning Heart palette. Sadly it was sold out. I ended up purchasing Asylum (a shimmery red loose shadow) and Tako (a matte white pressed shadow)
Since they were having a big sale they took a while with the shipping BUT they kept me informed so I didn't really mind too much. Sugarpill is a company that spares no detail. That extends to their packaging too. Take a look and THIS.
This is the box that it came in. Right away you see the attention to detail. its a small USPS priority flat rate box with the kitty logo PRINTED onto it in a bright pink. Very cute, and it definitely brightened up my day opening my mailbox and seeing THIS in there. But we cant judge a product by its cute packaging.
When we open up the cute kitty box we're greeted with hot pink tissue paper and our invoice
The shadows don't come wrapped in bubble wrap but there's enough tissue paper to keep everything tightly in place. Aside from the two shadows I ordered Sugarpill included a sample of Goldilux, a gold glitter loose shadow, a promotion card for their upcoming collection Cold Chemistry and a free Sugarpill glitter sticker. Thanks Sugarpill.
Here's a close up of that flier. Looks exciting. I'm actually already saving up for this.
Here's the other side of the flier
This is the Goldilux sample. Remember when I said no detail was spared? I meant it. The Goldilux sample card was held together by a hot pink staple.
Here's the back of the sample card. On the card it says their website in sugarpill.net, but its not. Its sugarpillshop.com but you can type in sugarpill.net and you will be redirected to the current website. One thing I really like about sugarpill is that they label which of their eyeshadows are vegan. I myself am no longer vegan but I do appreciate this.
Here's the inside of the sample card. Once again no detail spared. Love it.
Goldilux in all her glory. Please ignore my smudged nails OxO
Goldilux ingredients are on the inside of the card
This is the box that Asylum came in. Cut out heart window for our viewing pleasure.

Here's the top of the box. Do I really need a picture from every angle? Yes I do, but I promise only this time. next time it will only be actual shadows and the swatches.
Here are the sides of the boxes .There's our little kitty friend reminding us that Sugarpill is cruelty free. Very cute printed lace design on the sides of the box.
Back of the box
Bottom of the box. Another little kitty friend telling us the ingredients in Asylum.
Asylum is also vegan by the way.

Even the inner flaps that you see for about 2 seconds in very detailed and pretty
Aaaaand here she is. Ladies and Gentlemen, I present to you Asylum.
Here's Asylum in the jar. Lets talk about the size. there are a bit bigger than HALF of a mac pigment jar. But that in no way means they're 'small'. These will last you a long time, even with frequent use.
This is the cap. The writing isn't actually white, it's silver.
This is just to show you what the pigment looks like in the jar. The actual color is the color in the jar picture.
For some reason the pigment looks a bit more orange on my skin than in the jar. It's very sparkly when dry but if you use it wet (sorry i didn't get a picture) it almost looks metallic It's the tiniest bit patchy when applied dry but when you use it wet it goes on super smooth and pigmented. I love it.
In case you're wondering the heart is covering a burn scar, I blame you Tofu stir fry!!
The box for Tako. Once again we have our cut out heart window, super detailed box, and out beloved kitty friend. She looks so cute in Sugarpill shadows.
The back of the box
Here's the ingredients. Fell free to enlarge this. Tako is also vegan. Yes I 'painted' my nail in Photoshop while editing these pictures. Why? Oh because the polish was smudged and gross.
Here's the compact that Tako came in. For a shadow this thing is huge. its almost the size of Maybelline's dream bouncy blush. Once again, every detail that could have been included was included.
Hello little kitty friend. This is all printed in silver, not white.
Here in the pan you can see tiny white sparkles but these do NOT show up on the skin. Tako is a MATTE WHITE eyeshadow.
This may look like a bad swatch but its the best one I could get. Its shows the INTENSITY of Tako Its a bright white matte. Its a little streaky at first but if you add another layer in will even out. I haven't tried this wet so I can't comment on how it looks then.
Over all, I really liked these. They have good pigmentation and they come in a good size for the price. Asylum is 12 dollars at regular price and Tako is also 12 dollars. I got these for 9 each because of the birthday sale but i will be picking more up pretty soon. Do I recommend Sugarpill? Yes but only if you like bright colors. They don't make any nudes or neutrals.
